The Coming Glory of God

Scripture Focus:
Isaiah 60:1–3; Habakkuk 2:14; Haggai 2:1–9; Ephesians 1:15–23; Ephesians 3:17–21

No matter what the news headlines say, no matter what the analysts and prognosticators predict, and no matter the challenges the Church or we as individuals may be facing—there’s a NEWS REPORT FROM HEAVEN that overrides them all:

The glory of God is coming!
It is about to sweep across the earth.
It is about to fill the Church.
It is about to transform your life.
It will overflow until it covers the entire world like the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

Get ready, beloved. The coming glory will be awesome, incredible, and completely unprecedented. The glory is coming… it’s coming… it’s coming!
Hallelujah!

What Is the Glory of God?

Two powerful words define it in Scripture:

  • Hebrew – Kabod: weight, splendor, honour, substance, essence, wealth.
  • Greek – Doxa: brightness, magnificence, excellence, dignity, majesty, worth, worship.

In simple terms, the glory of God is the full expression of who He is—the summation of all His divine attributes and perfections.

When Moses cried, “Show me Your glory” (Exodus 33:18), God responded not with a cloud or a thunderstorm, but with a revelation of His character—His goodness, mercy, grace, patience, and truth (Exodus 34:5–9).

The glory, therefore, is not just a visible brilliance—it’s the manifestation of God’s nature. It is the very essence of His presence revealed among His people.

The Promise of the Coming Glory

According to Haggai 2:8–9, “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former.”
And Isaiah 60 declares, “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”

The glory is coming again—swiftly and powerfully. It will bring both revival and renewal, lifting the Church into her finest hour.

Preparing for the Glory

Let us begin to pray, “Lord, show us Your glory.”
Let us purify our hearts, renew our worship, and posture ourselves for His divine visitation.

The glory is not just coming—it is already rising.
You will see it. You will carry it. You will reveal it.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
