I am extremely excited and happy to share this morning dew with you. As I meditated on the Lord towards the end of last year, I began to have a distinct feeling God was speaking about this concept of double grace. I am sure you are wondering why double grace. I also wondered and I am still enquiring, but as I write I have some clarity, even if it is just the opening pages of a great revelation.

Grace has been defined as God’s unmerited favour and we all know that we are saved by grace and not by works. We know that the grace of God has been manifested towards us in the person of Jesus Christ, in whom all our sins have been forgiven, our punishment removed and we are freely justified by His grace. This aspect of God’s grace is more than enough, and if this is all that God’s grace means, we would never be able to fully plumb the depths of this grace. The wonder of God’s saving grace.

But this is not the end of the matter. I found that God has many dimensions to His grace, but today I want to share the other aspect of the grace of God. This grace is the grace to become! Or better said the grace to be who God has called you to be.

Like Paul said in 1 Cor 15:10, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.”

So there is grace or in this case supernatural empowerment to become the best possible you that God designed you to be.  WOW! The secret to this grace is yielding, not striving. What you are not able to do naturally, God can do supernaturally through a yielded vessel. It is of Jesus Christ’s fullness that we obtain grace. So it is not our power, but His. So its time to take the limits off God and your life and watch the wonderful grace of God manifest in and through you.

This year, live in the grace, I mean the double grace of God. Grace as a Christian and grace to become the best God has designed you to be.

Let us Pray: Father God, I really want to thank you for all you did for me in 2012. As I begin my journey into 2013, I am conscious of your plans for me. I want to say right now, that I want the best plan you have for me and I am totally dependent on your grace to fulfil all that you have laid up for me in 2013. I confess that of Jesus Christ fullness I have received grace for grace. This is my year of double grace. Amen.

‘2013 – The Year of Double Grace’ – Pastor Charles Abraham.

I believe it, I receive it, I thank God for it, and I forgive.
He has revealed it to His prophets and has established it from the mouths of two (or more).

  2. Hello Pastor Charles, my name is Jenny Abraham. I had never heard of Double grace, until God spoke to me in a dream in Oct 2017. I searched and had come across your post then.I got reminded of it again a few days ago and looked for it. Thank you for sharing this post.
