2025 (Year 5785) – The Year of Graceful Growth
Each year, I take time to wait on the Lord, seeking His direction for myself and our church family. Sometimes, He speaks through clear impressions, and other times, He drops His word into my spirit. This year, however, the process was a little different. The first thing I sensed was the significance of Psalm 118 for the year ahead. Initially, when I read it, nothing stood out immediately. But as I meditated on it, the Holy Spirit began to unveil its treasures, revealing beautiful promises that I will be sharing in the coming days.
As I continued to seek the Lord for a theme for the year—something to anchor our focus—He highlighted Psalm 118:5, which says:
“I called on the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.”
In that moment, I understood that God was speaking about growth and preparation—leading us into a place where we can fully express what He has deposited within us. This isn’t merely about physical locations or geographical movement but about stepping into our spiritual Rehoboth—a spacious place where we can thrive with freedom and purpose.
Then, the Lord brought another scripture to my heart—Isaiah 54:2-3:
“Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare;
Lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.”
This scripture resonated deeply within me, emphasizing the need to prepare for growth and anticipate expansion in every direction. I realized that God is calling us to make room for more—more of Him, more opportunities, and greater impact. He is asking us to position our hearts and lives to receive the increase He has in store.
Thus, the Lord declared that 2025 is our Year of Graceful Growth! Growth in multiple dimensions—spiritually, relationally, and in the fulfillment of His plans—made possible by His abundant grace. This prophetic declaration is already unfolding, as we are being called to step up and respond to new opportunities and challenges around us. In the days ahead, I will share more on the specific areas of growth and the strategies God is leading us to embrace.
As I conclude this first message, I declare over you: 2025 is your Year of Graceful Growth! The Lord will bring you into a spacious place; He will expand your vision and prepare you for more of His goodness. He will reveal the limitless supply of His grace, and as you walk in faith, you will grow and flourish. Whatever you set your hands to do under His grace will prosper. Stagnation will be broken, and every hindrance to your progress will be removed. You will expand to the right and to the left, and you will accomplish more this year than in previous years.
I declare this over you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
