The Coming Glory of God – Part 2

When His Glory is Revealed

John 2:11 — “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.”
Isaiah 60:1–2 — “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”

Let us pray:
Lord, speak to us. Reveal Your glory in and through us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Coming Glory

The world grows darker by the day — confusion abounds, nations tremble, and human wisdom fails. Yet, in the midst of this chaos, God is preparing to display His glory upon His people. The same glory that Jesus manifested at Cana is the glory now rising upon the Church.

That first miracle was not merely about turning water into wine. It was a prophetic picture — a divine preview of what the manifestation of God’s glory will look like in the last days. Every element of that miracle whispers of the coming wave of glory upon the Bride of Christ — the Church.

So, what will the glory look like?

1. The Glory Will Manifest God’s Power

At Cana, Jesus disrupted natural laws — water became wine without process, time, or logic. When the glory of God rests upon His people, the supernatural will become natural. The Church will walk again in divine authority, doing exploits that defy scientific explanation.
The prophets longed for this: “The people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.” (Daniel 11:32)
We will see instant transformations, miraculous provisions, and signs that point unmistakably to the living Christ. The world will know — this is not religion, but the manifest power of God.

2. The Glory Will Be a Covering of Honour

When the wine ran out, disgrace loomed — but the presence of Jesus covered the shame. In the coming days, God’s glory will cover His people like a divine garment.
Isaiah prophesied, “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth… but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:2)
While the world sinks into confusion and reproach, the Church will walk in dignity and radiance. Psalm 34:5 declares, “They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.”
Wherever His glory rests, shame is swallowed up in splendour. The end-time Church will not be pitied — she will be envied, radiant with divine covering.

3. The Glory Will Manifest Abundance

Jesus produced about 600 litres of fine wine — more than enough! The glory of God brings overflowing supply. Paul wrote, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
In this glory, divine provision will replace human striving. The Church will lack nothing to fulfill her mandate. Ministries will no longer beg; believers will become distributors of heaven’s resources.
Where His glory abides, there is no scarcity, only sufficiency and abundance.

4. The Glory Will Be Marked by Joy

Wine is a biblical symbol of joy, and when Jesus turned water into wine, joy was restored. In the coming glory, the Church will radiate supernatural joy — not happiness dependent on circumstances, but deep, Spirit-born joy.
Isaiah 12:3 declares, “With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”
The end-time Church will not be known for depression or defeat, but for exuberant, contagious joy — even in times of adversity.
Nehemiah 8:10 says, “The joy of the LORD is your strength.” This joy will become the strength of the saints.

5. The Glory Will Bring Healing and Restoration

Wine was also used medicinally in Bible days — a symbol of cleansing and healing. When the glory of God manifests, healing flows freely. Malachi 4:2 declares, “But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings.”
The coming glory will restore broken hearts, fractured homes, sick bodies, and weary souls. The Church will once again be known as a place of divine healing — physical, emotional, and spiritual.
As in the days of Jesus, the blind will see, the lame will walk, and captives will be set free — not by might, but by the glory of His presence.

6. The Glory Will Release Life

Wine also symbolizes the blood of Jesus, the very life of God. When Jesus turned water into wine, He was pointing to a greater transformation — the day when His life would flow through us.
In the days ahead, the Church will radiate resurrection life — the very Zoe of God. Death will lose its grip, and believers will walk in the vitality of divine life.
Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
The glory will release this abundant life — energizing, renewing, and empowering every believer to live victoriously.

7. The Glory Will Bring Renewal and Freshness

The master of the feast said, “You have kept the good wine until now.” (John 2:10)
This is the nature of God’s glory — it gets better with time.
Psalm 92:12–14 says, “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree… They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.”
The glory does not fade — it renews, refreshes, and beautifies. The coming glory will make the Church more vibrant, more relevant, more radiant than ever before. What looks old will be made new. What was tired will be revived. The glory will cause the Church to sparkle with divine vitality.

8. The Glory Will Bring Revelation and Faith

John concluded: “He manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.” (John 2:11)
Wherever the glory of God is revealed, faith is ignited. The revelation of His glory will bring a harvest of souls, revival in the nations, and a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Habakkuk 2:14 declares, “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”
The glory will not just be seen — it will be known. Men and women will believe again. The glory will restore faith to a faithless generation.

The Coming Glory Is Here

Just as the wedding at Cana marked the beginning of miracles, the outpouring of glory upon the Church marks the beginning of a new era. God is preparing His people for a fresh wave of divine manifestation — one that will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

This is the season to Arise and Shine, for our light has come, and the glory of the Lord is rising upon us!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, manifest Your glory in our lives and in Your Church. Let Your power be seen again among the nations. Cover us with Your splendour, supply us with Your abundance, fill us with Your joy, heal us by Your presence, and renew us by Your Spirit. Let the knowledge of Your glory fill the earth.
May Your Church become radiant with Your life until the whole world believes.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
