Morning Dew 6
Key Passage: Ps 118
Key Word: Ps 118:24 – This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it!
This simple but profound scripture carries incredible power, if you truly understand it. If you live in the reality of this word, you cannot have a bad day ever again in your life. You would forever have days of rejoicing and gladness.
God is the creator of each new day and the bible tells us something about God that He is good. So he cannot create a bad day. His days are good days. Secondly, God gives new graces and mercies each day, as the word says, His mercies are new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness. Thirdly, the bible tells us in Ps 68:19 “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.”
Every new day is loaded with benefits from God and every new day is full of God’s grace and mercies. That’s why the Psalmist said emphatically, This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Each day is a slow release capsule created by God and loaded with God’s goodness. So why should we not have a good day?
I think it is choice we make, whether we have a good day or a lousy day. We can agree with God that our day will be a good and productive one or disagree with God and choose our day.
As for me, and every wise person out there, this is the day God has made, and I will have many causes to rejoice and be glad in it. I am expecting God’s best this day.
Have a great Day!
Let us Pray: Father I thank you for your marvellous grace. You never stop to amaze me with your promises. Thank you for this day, it is a blessed day, a glorious day, a day that you have declared I would rejoice and be glad in. I thank you for this day and every day. Your promises are definitely alive. I believe I will never have a bad day ever again, in Jesus name. Amen.
